Events · Clubs · Sales — live near you
Everything happening
a few blocks away.
Townshyp turns your map into a live directory of what's actually going on nearby — the show tonight, the run club Saturday morning, the sale down the street. Posted by the people actually there.
The legend
Three kinds of pin.
One live map.
Every pin on Townshyp is one of three things — color-coded, same as the map in the app.
Things happening once.
Live music, pickup runs, gallery openings, block parties. RSVP, see who else is going, get a reminder before it starts.
Things that keep happening.
Standing groups you can actually join — a rec league, a book club, the regulars at Tuesday trivia. Private ones stay private.
Deals from real places.
Posted by businesses that have actually verified they own the storefront — not a flyer for a shop that closed two years ago.
How it works
Three steps. No feed to scroll.
01 / Open the map
See what's live, right now
Nearby pins, sorted by where you actually are — not by an algorithm deciding what you should care about.
02 / Tap a pin
Get the real details
Time, place, who's hosting, who's already going. Everything you need to decide in about four seconds.
03 / Show up
Or post your own
Hosting something? Drop a pin in a couple of minutes — an event, a standing club, a verified sale.
Why we're building this
We're building this out loud.
Townshyp started from a simple annoyance: the best stuff happening nearby is scattered across a dozen group chats, a flyer stapled to a telephone pole, and an Instagram story that vanishes in a day. None of it lives anywhere you'd actually think to look.
So we're building the map that should already exist — one real pin at a time, one neighborhood at a time. Posted by the people actually hosting, not scraped from somewhere else and left to rot.
We're still early. We'd rather build this in the open, with the people who'll actually use it, than disappear for a year and hope we guessed right. If that sounds like your kind of thing — say hello below.
